A Church School

Kinnerley CE Primary School fully celebrates it’s standing as a church school.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
It is distinctive in that it seeks to develop and maintain links with the local church and a religious dimension in the life of the school; and by seeking to establish a way of life informed by Christian beliefs and characterised by love, care and respect.
We benefit from links with the church and clergy in all sorts of ways, such as teaching led by clergy, after school clubs (Spotlight), and the provision of traditional services such as Harvest Festival, Remembrance, Christmas, Easter, as well as weekly worship and Leavers’ Assemblies. These links are not ‘add ons;’ they are integral to the life of our school and are part of who we are.
See more about what makes us tick on our Vision page.
Rev Chris and Rev Pippa have been frequent visitors to school and enjoying getting busy with the children! The children in return love to see them!
We also love to spend time at St Mary’s – learning, performing, celebrating, commemorating, mixing with the community, exploring. It makes us feel a wonderful sense of belonging.
